Coming to the Brown Grand on April 28: 2 & 7 p.m.
Tickets $27 at the door; $25 for advance/seniors;
Group rate of $23 for 10+
Main floor & first balcony is reserved seating. Main Floor is Handicapped Accessible.

Balconies are not handicap accessible but are great seats. The Brown Grand has almost perfect acoustics

Main floor is reserved for those who cannot do the stairs.

Tickets will be mailed to those who send a check & self-addressed stamped envelope to Brown Grand Theater. Box 347, Concordia KS 66901 before April 1. Please indicate which performance & how many tickets MUST be on the main floor to accommodate those who cannot do the stairs.

As of February 1, we have sold 1/2 the tickets for the 2:00 p.m. show and 1/3 of the tickets for the 7:00 p.m. show. Reserve your tickets before they are gone!

Our handicapped seating is limited so if you need wheelchair space please call ahead for special seating.

 Looking up at two of the balconies in the Brown Grand Theatre in Concordia, Kansas Restored to its original 1907 splendor, the 650 seat Brown Grand Theatre now serves as a tourist attraction and performing arts / community center for Concordia and North Central Kansas.
 
The theatre has two balconies, eight box seats, and features a grand drape, which is a reproduction of a Horace Vernet painting titled, "Napoleon at Austerlitz.
 
What do Napoleon Bonaparte and the Brown Grand Theatre have in common?  This landmark was built by Col. Napoleon Bonaparte Brown in 1906-1907 at a cost of $40,000.  Earl Brown, Col. Brown's son, was actually in charge of the construction of the French Renaissance theatre.
 
The original curtain was a gift from Earl Brown to his father on opening night Sept. 17, 1907.
 
Cloud County where the Brown Grand Theatre is located in Concordia, Kansas The historic Brown Grand is located at the west end of downtown Concordia in Cloud County.
 
Mission Statement
"The Brown Grand Theatre is a community-based historical Theatre dedicated to
enhancing cultural life in North Central Kansas."
      This program is presented in part by the Kansas Arts Commission, a state agency, and the National Endowment for the Arts, a federal agency.
